All you need is a decent drill press, and the tap, I did mine at my work on lunch break, I took pictures after I installed it on the ski, I started with a small drill bit to make sure I was in the right spot, then went for it,
Some other members say if you hit the water jacket, put JB Weld on it,
My manifold is a stock 06 RXP

Every pre 08 manifold is gonna be hit or miss drilling into the water jacket.

I was lucky,
I drilled as far away as I could from the water elbow, no issues yet, there are many post on fellow members drilling and some hitting the water jackets,

I drilled my 05 exhaust manifold and all is good. I used a milling machine though and i made a tool that is the same diameter as the sealing washer on the o2 sensor. I decked the boss and chucked the tool so I could set the location of the hole. I moved it as far away from the water jacket elbo as I could and still have enough sealing surface and centered it in the other direction then i locked the table down and changed to a drill bit.
You can do the same thing with a drill press but you need a lathe to make the toole. Without a toole you are just guessing about where the center of the bit should be. I have only done one (mine) but it worked for me.
