SC Out a few Questions about doing the Ceramic Wachers

Update: SC out, was a breeze using GH instructions and I'm not that mech incline. Now that the SC is out I have a few questions for doing the wachers:

What type of grease to use for installation, Notice a blue grease were the housing and SC get together.

    - Should I get the SC ORings even if they look good?
    - What is the size of the Shaft Tool to hold it? I will be looking for a Wrench to create a Shaft tool myself, the Riva cost $65 Locally

Here a Few pict of the SC and the ceramic wachers.

    Any Other sugestions?
Keep Everything Clean, Wach Out for the bearings not to fall out

Should the SC come in easy as it came out?

    - Should I get the SC ORings even if they look good? You might as well. They probably only cost a couple of dollars. Although, Im sure it wouldnt matter if you didnt change them

Should the SC come in easy as it came out? Sure will, you might just need to spin the impeller to get the gears to mesh

Are you just changing the washers I gather, and not rebuilding the whole thing? How many hours are on the charger?

    I use anti-seize,it works well..

NO, if they are not ripped, smashed or show signs of wear then you will be good..

Your better off just buying the shaft tool, by the time you buy a wrench, grind it down to the right thinkness, you can have your clutches switched and the Scer back in the ski

Make sure you reset your slip to the right spec,Use RED loctite on the jam nut when you re-assemble your charger, torque the jam nut to 22 FT/lbs, and yes keep everything spotless and pay attention to the needle bearings, there are 40 of them little fockers and all it takes is to loose one and your done....

Yes the Scer should go in as easy as it came out..I would also replace the 3 torx mounting bolts with 3 new SS hex head bolts...This will help in preventing you from rounding off the heads at a later date...

Do you know if I could use the machine without it, Where does the sensor goes, Do I need to verify for leaks?

Yes you can use the machine as long as you leave it plugged in....Un-plug it and you'll get a code....The sensor goes into the waterbox on the outlet side..there will be a threaded nut welded into the box were it is suppost to go....
