GPR Rear exit exhaust... Opinions please.
Well this is my hand made prototype rear exit exhaust. I used an aluminum 3.5"tube with a mandrel bend on the in side pointing it up, so that it hooks back up with stock exhaust. The bezel is 16ga aluminum. This one was hand made to get the dimensions down. The finished version will be cnc cut. It will also have 4 mounting bolts.
The straight protruding tip is prefered by the ski owner, but I'm leaning towards a slant cut at the top with more of a flush mount towards the bottom.
Let me know what you think. I'm also looking for pics of other peoples versions of this mod.
Thank you

Nice.. If you can make one like this that will hook up to the factory exhaust pipe I want one. I think a bunch of people will want to purchase them.

I haven't tested it yet. The motor is on the bench for this ski, and I'm still working on the exact degree bend to match up with stock exhaust. I have a couple of different degree bent tube's being made up. I should have a seaworthy piece by next weekend.
I have decided to switch this one to stainless. I just think stainless will be more durable.
As for cost, each tube is about $35, material for flange/bezel $10. Plus cost of cnc cutting and welding. I think it will be a very reasonable mod. The more I can make at one time the cheaper it will be.
Lee,PM sent!
Amsoil, I can duplicate Bruce's flush mounts if you like. Give ma about a week and I should have some pics up.

Great if you can duplicate Bruce's back piece to hook up to the stock exhaust with minor modification. I think you have a home run. I know 3 units that will be sold.
