I am interested to know how it may change the exhaust tone. I have FF, with a 1300 waterbox which helped tone it down a bit, but a bit more reduction, or less drone would be welcome. Plus the obvious awesome look!

you should weld the studs to the back side of the exhaust tip so its a clean flush mount... but i guess accesibility to the backside nut is the key

I'd be interested as well. Any updates? I am sure it is not so easy considering the bevel in the rear of the hull. Cant wait to see the outcome. I loved the rear exhaust on my RXT and now that I did a conversion it would be a nice touch to this one as well.

On mine that I just made, I had to use a 12" extension with a deep socket. I used a small piece of paper between the nut and socket when I pushed the nut into the socket. I also had to have someone holding the screws from the outside while I tightened the nuts. I also used a rubber gasket for the flange, but still decided to use 3M 5000 with the screws when I pushed them through.

Like everyone else, still waiting for the final product to get one on order (I think my attempt turned out nice enough, but not the quality I was hoping for)
