    Cable loose in the hull, What is IT?

    Found the following cable in the hull, not sure where it go or weather it hang loose . What is it and where does it goes?

    That is a melted waterbox temp sensor.

    Is it possible I snap it while moving the waterbox a little to get the SC out, Will it leak water where the sensor needs to be at? Can thge machine be operated like this ? Any pictures in where in the Water box does this goes?

    Once I put the New one in, Is there a Way to protect it from Heat, Like a Heat Wrap ? Any Sugestions?

    No need. Just dont run it off the hose for any length of time.

    I do not run it on hose more than 4 minutes when checking for leaks or reviewing the Oil mark. Only a few times I Start it out of the water, allways with the hose on, and for very little time. But will try a heat wrap once I install it, Who knows this might be my first invention trying to save some sensors going forward

    If the sensor melted you overheated the exhaust.
