    Pluging hole thru-hull exhaust

Any ideas on what to use to plug the 2 3/4" hole i have in my hull? dont really want to get into fiber-glassing the area but i would like to have a big bilge outlet there
    (1 1/4")?

Id say fibreglass is really the only good option.

If its just temporary you could make up an aluminium block off eg piece of plate cut to size, siliconed on and bolted down

Also id avoid a bilge outlet below the water line, good chance of letting water back in (most pumps dont have backflow prevention)
