yamaha gp1300r fuel problems... i think

hi, i have a gpr 1300 2003 and i have a problem, big or not, i don t know. the jet don t want to accelerate more than 5000- 5500 rpm. i ve checked the compression, i ve checked the exhaust, the sparks, plugs, no errors on tester, the fuel injectors was little dirty but i ve cleaned them and is no difference. i have installed a dplate, and a chip sensor. my question is. do i really nned a efi controller? it s because of that? excuze me for my bad english and thank you vrey much for helping!

Had the same problem once and it was the crank that was out of timing. Check and see if any of the cylinders is not at the same operating temperature as the others to maybe track it down as to what cylinder isn't operating properly.

Check compression, have you tried new plugs? It sounds like its missing. I had a bad spark plug wire years ago that make my ski run similar to this.
