    Dipstick Mod.

another cheap ass security mod. pretty self explained. On recent rough water rides i have been popping my dipstick guessing due to rough water and crankcase pressures, and seems im not the only one this is happening too. i tried a spring retainer but it was cumbersome to clip on. so just added the o-ring as pictured, you could add more to really hold it but one for now seems to do the trick just needs a little more positive pressure to make the seal

Those o-rings are going to make an already difficult task of getting the correct oil reading worse.

This is a secret. If we were to advertise the real gains of our mods like this on the Kawis all of you would be running and jumping over to the Green side. We keep tis information to ourselves for the good of all of you that have the other brands. To find out these particular HP and speed gains would cause too many divorces. All you guys would sell off everything and bring the kids christmas gifts back to go buy and Ultra. We can not do this to you.

The best thing I can share is just sit back and keep coming to our side to learn. We will not out you and let everyone know your obsession of the ski you really want.

I read on skips site about this, than I thought to myself instead of cutting up another dipstick, just open the oil cap when checking oil level? Plus can 2 cc's of air make that big of a difference on the "true" oil level?

exactly its no big issue, why buy another dipstick when you could also mark a piece of welding wire that way you wouldnt even have to loosen the cap lol loosening the cap also makes no difference as the engine still has a breather tube through the catchcan
