another cheap ass security mod. pretty self explained. On recent rough water rides i have been popping my dipstick guessing due to rough water and crankcase pressures, and seems im not the only one this is happening too. i tried a spring retainer but it was cumbersome to clip on. so just added the o-ring as pictured, you could add more to really hold it but one for now seems to do the trick just needs a little more positive pressure to make the seal

I am under 3 weeks left at sea I am just in a stupid mood today but in all seriousness great thinking and thank you for sharing this very cheap and simple fix to keep the dipstick tight.

Those o-rings are going to make an already difficult task of getting the correct oil reading worse.
