    good welder for aluminum

Looking for a good welder to weld aluminum. I want to learn more about it. I can weld fairly well with all types of machines. I have a mig but looking for a tig I could tinker with. Don't need a 5k welder just a nice solid hobby welder that will last. Thanks

115 handy migs can be had for under 300.00 with everything needed. A decent tig is around 1200-1400

a good welder can mig ss damn near as good as a tig welder..jfyi.invertigs are low end, and imho a waste if your doing high end welding. this is coming from a guy who is a sheet metal worker fwiw. get yourself a mig and then spend the big bux if you are proficient and enjoy it...just my two cents
