    Speed chart

When viewing the numbers take into account superman usually adds 1 mph and an 800 grate adds at least 1 mph as well (sometimes an 800 grate adds as high as 2)

    Please post your numbers

A couple of years ago Wetwolfe created a graph showing what results people were getting. It was a simple chart that showed for different rpms and impeller pitches what speeds people were seeing.

If you want to participate please send me (or post) the following information

    1) motor size
    2) EFI or carbs
    3) rpm
    4) impeller model and pitch
    5) whether riding position was superman (yes or no)
    6) grate 1200 or 800
    7) speed

    thanks, philip

    * One thing/option you can do also is break up the CC classes by different pages in Excel. Look at the lower left and you can label each page by engine size
    i.e.) 1200 1300 1400 ect.....

Wrap the text and insert comments if need be.

Looks good Philip !!! I appreciate you compiling this together for us !!

I know it took alot of time

I did sort the chart by engine size and I grouped all the EFI boats together.

What I found is interesting is the speeds aren't really as high as you would expect. It takes a lot of effort to get a 1200 to 75+ or a 1300 to 80+ and those that have done it should be congratulated.

Just tinkering with it a bit......check this out....

    I separated them in pages.
Click on each color tab at the bottom.
We can also add more tabs for the 4 stroke guys.

I have frozen the window panes and made 4 screens out of one.

Play with it and you will see what i am talking about.
