    Autronics

    I have been using the search feature of this forum and came across a few using Autronics ECU. I just want to know how you like them compared to stock ECU? Also did you tune with the Autotune feature?

    I have read a lot about it, and am 97.0% sure I will be pulling the trigger on one in a couple of weeks.

    Can someone expalin more about this unit. Where are they sold? What do they do? I run the b-kit on stock ecu and I want to upgrade. Is this the way to go?

    In the auto performance industry Autronics is the pimp daddy of all aftermarket ECU. I have installed in one in a 2002 Camaro Z28. I did not like the wiring part but the tuning was a lot easier than the wiring, I really like the Autotune feature of the Autronics. To do a get a tune accurate you need to have access to a chassis dynometer (auto) or engine dynometer (boats) and a whole weekend for tuning. Most people who use EFI Live or HP Tuners do half a$$ tunes, because they don't have access to a dynometer. A dynometer allows the tuner to have a controlled environment, the highway (or lake) is not a controlled environment.

    the AUTRONIC for the B-Kit has a spezial base mapping for the B-Kit and spezial high speed injectors (83 p).

    on stock class skis the autronic can make 35 hp over stock.

    a full b-kit autronic ecu boat has ~ 320 hp at 9050 RPM

    Well for the dyno part... Ok for my car I use www.dataloglab.com to see a graph layout of the pull, it also has a cool feature with a dyno built in. From the DLL dyno to a real world dyno it was about 4% off. Not bad.


    Autotronic, ehh. It's OK. If you want the best go with a Motec EM or theres also AEM.
