green caps on the batteries....
So I get ready to pull the pump on the GTI, and decide to pull the batteries to put them on the batt. tender, lo and behold on the GTI 4 of those f'ing green caps are broke off, 5 of them broke off on the RXP, battery acid everywhere in both compartments. WTF man? All the cells are dry, and im sure Ive been riding with them like that. Im so pissed I cant see straight. Im willing to bet all of you veterans out there run sealed batteries. I bought these ski's new in February 2011, was wondering if anyone knows if thers a warranty on the batteries? Ill go by the dealer on Monday but Im sure Ill get the ol run around... Sigh..

Somebody over tightened them. Hopefully your dealer will take care of you.

The gel battery are the best. Not cheap but that is the battery I would buy.

had that happen to my oem battery....think it was from the battery tender overcharging it,but not sure....you should be able to work them out with a screwdriver.....when it died, i put in a sealed battery,no more green caps...so far so good(2 years).
