    twin piped hurricane

anybody have experience with twin pipes on a hurricane? I installed hot seat twin pipes & 44 riflebores with updated cdi/stator two years ago. Never got the bugs out of it but wasn't overly impressed with the power gain. Cane sat last season but now i'm itching to carve the hell out of the closed course again. I thought I remembered Bruce (wetwolf) messing with a set of factory twins a while back. Noticable gain over his stock 2"shortened? Just trying to decide if I should keep the hot seat twins or build a stroker twin (800 or 910cc)with a shortened stock cane pipe. Still want to be able to race in sport or runabout class though. I also remember a guy named Randy from Moosehorn racing in Mass who ran twins on his hurricanes which ripped. If anybody knows his contact info . . . . Gimme ! Last time I talked to him (2001) he no longer was into racing but had plenty of parts.

I would ditch the twins and put a bpipe in it much better power you just need the pipe and adapter from an octane or just the adapter and find a yamaha b pipe

Tnx Lugs, just read 2012 pro am open sport spec rules. You can pretty much run any motor you want now (sea doo 951, Yam/Kaw/pol 1200) . . . . should really make things interesting! Gotta see how much a big bore twin polaris will cost me (can go 910 with MSX jugs) . . . hate to go 951, so proud to be American ! Raced my 785 and octane back to back motos last summer, sprinkle in a sport class moto . . . better get myself in shape now ! Keddano get that Cane in the water or is it a mess?

it's the pipe they used on the yamaha superjets and blasters and thats what Polaris used in the octane this pipe is the best it will put those twin pipes to shame . I know Paul has acouple to sell and then you'll need the adapter plate from an octane
