2012 ultra Lx jet pump in a 2007 Ultra Lx

I've been thinking of putting a new Jet pump housing in my 2007 Ultra Lx, seems it has high spots on the wear ring where the set screw retains the stainless ring.and just remembered hearing a rumor that Kawasaki upgraded the Lx to a 3 bearing set-up,parts schematics for the 2012 confirm this.
The other nice thing about the 2011-2012 pumps is the rear Bearing O-ring that keeps the rear bearing from spinning in the housing.
My Question is does anyone know for sure if this pump will fit into the 2007?
I believe it will but just want to be sure.
    Thanks.steve

That O-ring on the rear bearing was a great Idea.

When you install impeller on the shaft, use medium strength loctite to prevent the impeller from unscrewing itself. It also seems to help preventing against seizure or galling between the stainless steel parts (impeller and shaft).

Thanks Meangreen.I will.in the past rebuilds of my LX pump I always used waterproof grease on the threads, but from now on I will use the locktight.never had an issue, but never want to have one either.so locktight it is.Thank you.Steven
