Question Close course set up for Kawasaki 300x

I would like to buy Sponson, Intake Grate, and Ride Plate to put in my Kawasaki 300x.

Could you please help to recommend which brand is better between Farthing Racing or Riva or R&D? Or shall the brand be mixed up?

    Thank you so much.

is your close course in the surf or in lakes ? It does make a difference.

Just remember that the Riva parts get a 10% discount in the online store Coupon ------- greenhulk

It is preference on those 3 items and some are very similar to other brands. As Kawa stated all depends on your race contitions.

I will race 3 courses in the surf and another 3 courses in the lake. By the way, what kind should I set up in each course (the surf and lake)?

    Thank you so much.

I am very happy with my Farthing Racing setup for closed course. I race in the surf and on lakes. Does great at both. Turns as fast and hard as you want it to. I'm sure that riva's and tbm's setups are very similar.

FYI, Ryan Hardwick got second place overall in the ijsba national series this year (pro stock) with a very tight points battle with Macc. Exact same setup I have. And of course Farthing won open class with the plate, grate, sponsons. If you can ride the handling will be there.

Well, I'll say this, at the beginning of the season my ski was actually faster than Ryan's (according to Phil lol), but I didn't go to the last couple of rounds, so I don't know if they made any signifigant changes. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a couple of things different now that the tuning is coming together. Handling wise, which was what I was refering to, I'm 99 percent positive they were the same. Bottom line tho, the parts work and my boat carves.

I made some slight changes to it but I like their (farthing) rideplate the best for my style, to each their own
