Smoke form Catch Can (What is Normal?)

I will like to know what is normal smoke out of the breather.
I just installed the catch can in the front of the ski in higher level than the Pcv valve. At iddle smoke comes out very visible and at full throttle when I stop and take the seat out, the engine compartment is full of smoke. Is this normal with the Riva Stage III. (The ski has 50 hour only)

The ski rev 8500-8550 no problem and feels strong . Without the Riva Rear Intake I manage 79.6mph. Almost there... I am just concern of the smoke.
    Thanks

Yes, this is very normal...You may even have a bit of blow by in your can which is OK just so you don't have a few ounces....

Hmmm, I just re-read your post again and noticed you said your compartment is "full" Do you mean like really smoke filled or just a bit? As long as it is only a bit you will be fine. Also, is your hose from the oil pump running in an upward motion to the can? If not, this may be contributing to excessive smoke.

Yes, its get full. When you take the seat out, It comes out. Even while crusising smoke comes out of the riva hood. Ijust changed the oil to see if it helps and still the same. The hose is in an upward position. No changes in performance though...

    PCV valve damaged???

    Thanks

do u think ur oil lever is 2 full i run mine at no more than half way on the dip stic i know if the oil level is 2 full ur ski will lose r's because ur pumping oil into the intake now with the air breather and catch can if the oil level is 2 full ur ski will run ok but it will still pump out oil and that could be the reason 4 all the smoke in ur hull

could my smoking problem through the breather be that the ski is running rich with the 50 pound injectors?
    Just giving ideas....

No, smoke out of the positive crankcase ventilation system is usually caused by excessive blow by. Blow by can be caused by worn or broken rings.

    Do a compression check lately?
