    shipping

Guy I know that there are lots of ways to ship things and we all think we have all the answers. I have a way that anyone can get some pretty good discounts on shipping the stuff we sell. This is for the small stuff that you would use UPS or even FEDEX. Just want to see if there would be any interest in a way to get 10 20 or better discounts on shipping would be using major carriers you all know who they are not USPS.
If you would use this or not please take the poll. Really just trying to gauge interest to see if I want to spend the time and money to set it up.

Would be simple you go to the carriers website find the rate take the discount off and that is what you pay.

If you want a quote please take i to PM si I can get the info I need.

    Thanks

    would it cost us anything?

right now, I've been using USPS flat rate boxes and have really been doing well. Also, it's good to know that I'm helping the suffering postal service.....

Cost you anything? Not sure what the question is . Yes if you ship something using an airbill of course it costs you something.

The cost would just be less than the list price direct from the carrier or even taking it to a pack and ship store. If the USPS is taking care of you then continue using them.

sorry, I guess I didn't make that clear - how would we get the discount? would we have to pay a one-time fee or something like that?

Sorry didn't understand. You get the discount every time you ship. Basically you send me the information on the shipment. You contact me with your credit card and i send you a prepaid airbill to put on the box. You then drop it at the nearest drop off point or you can pay the pickup fee of $6. No charge unless you ship.

    ground discount 10%
    3 day saver= 20%
    2 day=25%
standard next day, next day by 10:30=25%

This is off the price from the carriers website.

I don't think alot of us are real keen on giving out our CC info. I will tell you I just had to ship somthing to canada and fedex wanted 77 bucks as UPS wanted 39 substantial.

True, but John is part of a legitimate and established business (Unishippers). I would understand if we were talking about some random person offering this. It's the same as ordering/paying something over the phone from any retailer or service business.

That's mostly true for international shipments, but not domestic. It all depends on weight, distance, and speed. I don't bother with parcel post, too much uncertainty IMO. I use Priority sometimes and I use USPS for most of my international shipments because of the price difference. One important thing to note is that USPS tracking info is completely inferior to that of the major carriers.

I can vouch for John and his business. I have used him and was very satisfied. Actually quite surprised how convient he was along with being cheaper than my other rate quotes.
Many member have used him and his business is a very save and legitimate business plus just a great guy to do business with.

I would use no one else when shipping things.
