    New meaning to free mods.

Since today was 70 some degrees of course i went out on the water. Got a late start and when we got to the ramp we did everything how we usually do. One person backs the truck down the ramp and the other sits on the ski with all the straps off and in reverse. When the ski floats of the trailer just start it up and back out. We did my friend John's RXT like that and had no problem. When we did my RXT it almost made it in the water and the back slid off the trailer and onto the concrete boat ramp. Joy. winched it back up and found that the rideplate was gouged and the reverse bucket had broken perfectly like a modded bucket. Go figure. Last night i had the stock intake air box out and decided to cut the baffles. out. So between that and the damage to the ski i was curious to see what i get on GPS. Gave it a shot and netted 68.0mph on a FULL tank of gas!!! Remember the only performance mod i have done was cut the baffles out of the stock air box. I didn't belive it so i took a different GPS and went 67.6mph. talk about havin a wierd day.

Josh... that bucket looks better than the ones I've done with my sabre saw
Next time I break my last saw blade I'll have a back-up plan

We've been doing it that way for months with no problem. It's bot a very steep ramp either. $hit happens but i can't complain with numbers like that.
