FZR Blown up Engines!
130 hour ....
that the 3 engine broken first 2 on 2010 fzr ski
and yesterday my ski the 2010 ski it was #4 piston
and my ski #1 piston broken i think it was from the bad ass rods
the rods was brake the case and make a big hole
what is the problem and the other ski doing will on 18 psi ?
and i check my oil pump it was bad also
changing oil pump every 100 hours ? or its from the rods
all the broken engine the oil pump was bad

Do you realize not because someone is pushing at 18 PSI doesn't mean your engine will be safer at 16 PSI...
Your rod let it go because I bet you were running stock internal 8600RPM + ?
Piston went bad because bad AFR?
I hardly think your oil pump did that kind of damage.
Your oil pump probably went bad because it sucked the falling pieces...
Check the bearing, cylinder wall, valve train ect... you will now if oil pump wasn't doing his job.
And you will had anyway an alarm going off if oil pressure was bad.
Are you saying you blew 3 engines?

AFR between 11.2 - 12.1
and the 2 other blow engines not mine for my friends
and i some one tell me another engine 30 hours 2011 blow in

Cast pistons and stock rods are not going to take that kinda abuse for long! you have increased boost by 300% what did you expect would happen?
This motor really to be reliable on stock internals needs to be kept at 11 psi max and 8500 rpm max, anything more than that will test the stock internals.
Your motors need Rods, Forged pistons, Lightned and balanced crank, Sleeves, and Riva valve train upgrade, to be able to handle excessive RPM and boost.

I guess yamaha does not build all engines the same way.I build my friends sho with riva intercooler,fpr, vipec ecu, boosting between 20 to 21 psi ,engine is fully stock.build the ski when it had 6 hrs know its got 139 hrs ,all this hrs in salt water at 9500 rpm ,never had and issue with the ski since build, only a little tuning every time the weather changes.But its true cause ive seen a lot of this engines failed with less agressive setups.I guess my friend got really lucky with his engine.lol.

i broked my engine at 14 hours and it was completelty stock. luckily the delear agreed to fix it under the waranty
i only had a riva air filter, riva water box and thats it !!!
yamaha should pay more attention on the quality and the way how they bolt on engines
