Start with the basics, Intake grate, Then inlet (air filter, ribbon delete) and exhaust (freeflow or rear exit). VX rideplate is a good value for money mod, Giving nearly 5mph with that alone. The its a case of how much you want to spend, I've just done all the above with Motec, 1000cc injectors, E1 wheel, Supercharger shaft and damper, Intercooler and prop.

Reflash! A little advice, once you start its hard to stop until you get to a point of getting into the motor.... Keep it stock or get 6-7K saved up and do everything you can do without getting into the motor. I just wanted to break 80mph mark but I fear thats will only hold me this coming year. I feel my mods are safe with stock motor.

V-Tech reflash best all around bang for the buck once you have done the air filter, ribbon delete and free flow exhaust

Best bang for the bucks? What is your goal?

My ski has gone over 73 mph with just the R&D grate, the VX ride plate and a $36 cheap air filter. I prefer to keep my skis under warranty.

Want to go faster? You came to the right place; many riders on this forum are moving well into the 80's on the Yamaha platform, some of the fastest skis in the world lurk here. But if you start swapping out the ECU and pushing big power you can destroy a very expensive engine if it's not done correctly; you have been warned. There are some very knowledgeable peeps on this forum and they will help you. So do your research here on the Hulk and just make sure you know what you're doing.
