    Parting '96 SL700 and '97 SLH

I picked these up on CL today....mostly for the trailer and a few parts from the SLH. Let me know if you need anything. Gonna try to tear them down this weekend.

Seats are both faded and cracked
    Handlebar pads are trash
Haven't tested the MFD on the SLH yet, but he said it worked
Pumps both look good (1 long, 1 short)
    No hood on the SLH

Haha...wouldn't surprise me. It has a piece of flat plexiglass screwed over the opening...

If that SLH seat is the same one as on a Pro 1200 I might be interested in it. You sure the SLH is a 97? That looks like a newer style.

Duh....it's a '98...the first year of that hull style.

    They went:
    '98 - purple
    '99 - teal green
    '00 - blue
    '01 - silver

The seat cover is trashed....the foam's not great. I'll check, but I'm guessing the mounting points are cracked like every other one I've seen.

I have a new cover and I will rebuild the seat if its not too expensive to buy the seat.

I looked at it....the latch is still on there but the plastic is cracked underneath...probably won't last much longer without reinforcement. The rubber bumpers are also missing. The foam is usable, but not perfect.

I'd do $40 + shipping, but shipping will probably be high...you know how heavy they are!

Pulled the motor on the '96. It had great compression (120+), but after I pulled it out I could see some major scoring on the pistons through the exhaust ports. There goes a good chunk of my planned profit on this endeavor. Hopefully the bottom end is still good.

The SLH had a good stator and ring along with the factory extended ride plate. Good for a conversion for those who have a short pump!

I will take the seat. Let me know what you need for shipping. If that seat is like the one on my pro 1200 its not that heavy its just big.
