I would ask Carlos. He has one and seems to be very happy with it. Btw how much did they quote you on this pump ? They quoted me $1700 if I send in my pump and $2000+ for 162 mm.

The setback pump will give you better hookup. The downside is probably cost...not sure if you'll be able to use the OEM shaft & you'll also need to have the inner hub on your props machined for more setback. I have a 155 14v setback for my GPR, & the props I use on the OEM pump don't sit close enough to the stator on the skat pump. With the setback design, the front of the pump housing acts as part of the wear ring, so if you f it up you'll probably be replacing the whole thing. I don't have first hand experience, but I've been told the large diameter setback Skats are also more prone to bearing issues.

I have seen The pump carlos uses. It is a piece OF Art.

THE price i was quoted is $1500.00 they will be using a core that i sent them, AND a oem liner.
THE quote i was given is for The 12v pump AND liner being resleeved to a 160mm.it also comes with a prop.
