Talking hi everyone I come from Spain !

hello all, first of all forgive my English is not very good.
I own a Sea Doo RXT 260 Rs and former owner of a Yamaha Cruiser Sho.
I hope to make good friends here.
I begin my presentation with a question:

The point is that my former Yamaha Sho 74-75 miles from me to my current marker and RXT only 70 miles makes me : ( I would ask if the kit I'll get to win something RIVA or just spend my money? In case of not getting recomendais much more than me to get to those 80 miles are you doing any of you in your RXT 260 Rs?

Many thanks and sorry for my English.

    Welcome to GreenHulk.

The Yamaha has a bigger fuel tank, and less HP, so you should go farther.
Are you running the entire 70 miles WOT?

i think he meant speed wise...

the seadoo is LIMITED at 70 MPH but your yahama must have had a top speed of 74-75

BUT... if you are relieing on the guages that came with the ski, they are not so accurate...
so maybe your yamaha wasnt really going 74-75...

you can get a kit to speed up your seadoo BUT...
there are alot of "free mods" and cheap-ish mos like the speed limitter "take off" (grr forgot whats it called)
same as 4" intake... just with those things you should be going 74-75....

P.S. does anyone know if the yam he had goes 74-75 mph?

Oh and welcome to the board.

Thank you very much for the welcome.
My RXT is Rs 260 which according to the U.S. are limited to 70mph in Europe are not supposed limited.
In my former Yamaha Sho had the following accessories:
    - R & D Air Filter
    R & D-turbo wheel
and showed that only 74-75 mph
I wonder if the kit sold in Spain http://www.jetskicubillas.com//index.php?cPath=41_66 Riva used to reach those 80-81 mph or a waste of money?
I think people do not send to Spain http://www.4-tecperformance.com/ products.
What parts recomendais me to improve my RXT 260 Rs? and if not too much to ask where do I can buy?

    Again many thanks to all.

    Ok I see.
That kit would probably be a very good starting point for modifications.

And I do believe 4-tech performance ships to Spain.

    Welcome to the Hulk site!

You are NOT alone reporting being limited to 70 mph on your RS 260 in Europe. You are correct that it SHOULD go at least 74 mph but, several others have seen the same thing. Originally in 2010, there were two different ECU's one for North America and one for International, the ONLY difference being the GPS speed limit 70(NA) or 74(RS) mph. The ECU programming has been mixed up with several others.

Look at my signature below and you will see what modifications we have been doing in the USA to get these big ol 3 seaters hauling ass! The first thing you should do is take out the stock air box and install a 4" air intake to allow this ski to breath fresh air. Next, get your ECU re-flashed to remove ALL limiters. After that is personal choice and money you want to spend.

    Have fun.
