    06 to 08 driveshaft

Hey guys, I have a deal lined up with Stockrxp, for the driveshaft off of his 06 Rxp, just want to be sure that it will be the same as my 08 rxpx shaft.

    Thanks

I may be wrong but I thought the RXP-X shaft was either longer or has c clip in different spot then on the RXP.

It will not work. The c-clip is in a different position. You need a 08 RXP/RXPX shaft. The 09-10 shaft will not work. The 2011 shaft will work. SD went back to the older style after two years.

The P-X ski's shaft uses the front clip groove and all other P models use the rear clip groove.

Not sure if it matters as it is the other way around. I have my 2008 RXPX shaft in my 07 rxp hull. The shaft and carbon seal have no issues at all.
