Exclamation Tunnel cracking on SHO/FZR/FZS Now is the Time to Fix it!

While it's winter time for most of us US guys on the forum NOW is the time to order your tunnel reinforcment cover plate from Jerry http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=1927 (NOTE FZR/FZS take the same cover the SHO takes a different one) and get it installed befor YOUR ski cracks! Here is some old post I found to remind you what will happen to your ski if you don't fix it befor it's too late, Tommy Jordan-----------------------------------------------------------------Trust me, it happens on Yamahas too... link http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...t=97158&page=1

"Well guys mine offically cracked yesterday also. the whole right side of the pump tunnel you can feel and see is cracked and water comes in under full throttle, not really much comes in while around half throttle. but it seems like these SHOs have the same problem as the gpr's.good thing i noticed this befoe it got worse."

""I have been riding my sho for six months now with mods and had a crack which caused flooding. My mechanic has fixed the crack and reinforced the tunnel. I am trying to get a better understanding of what he did and why."

"Hi all, a cousin of mine got FZR and he had a pump tunnel failure too. and i heard some other people talking about this issue too..."

"Hi Guys - I need to know whats could cause this? - my friend's FZR... how can I do to my fzr the reinforcment for the tunnel?"

    yeah its really heavy duty!

i sent it to a shop and they use lots of fiberglass and fiber cloth with a kind of special glue and its stick well on the nano cell

they grind the nano surface 1st before glue on it

i had it done for about RM1200 so convert to USD is about 400...
