Throttle thumb lever fitment question
Dont the 650 750 and 780 use the same thottle lever? I have a guy that bought one from me that is saying it does not line up.

I'm pretty sure the year matters more than engine size, with 96-97 being a change over.
The mounting base has a certain angle-that matches the lever.Other than wear the two meet they all work/fit the same.
It is very possible one ski or the other had the base/lever replaced as an assembly.
Not sure if either parts have a stamping number.
Pictures might help.

The longer/thinner one will not work on a pre 96 ski. The cable won't pull the throttle all the way open.
