    Throttle thumb lever fitment question

    Dont the 650 750 and 780 use the same thottle lever? I have a guy that bought one from me that is saying it does not line up.

    I'm pretty sure the year matters more than engine size,with 96-97 being a change over.
    The mounting base has a certain angle-that matches the lever.Other than wear the two meet they all work/fit the same.
    It is very possible one ski or the other had the base/lever replaced as an assembly.
    Not sure if either parts have a stamping number.
    Pictures might help.

    The longer/thinner one will not work on a pre 96 ski. The cable won't pull the throttle all the way open.
