GTX SC Joins 70 +++ Club

Well, I am finally there. Best of 70.1 a few times at 8400 -8450 and unfortunatley bumping the rev limiter and nothing less than a 69.8/9 on multiple runs with a lot of 70.0's right there. I'd reset the GPS after every run just to ensure accuracy. Boost is a SOLID 8.5 and weather was 76/69. I did go back to the Riva grate but shaved off the fins (inside and out) and knifed the bottom sides. So, was it the grate, cooler temps, or less gas. Don't know but just happy.

Next will be the RTX shaft w/RXP wear ring ordered from Richard. Thanks Richard.... Goin for the 71 +++ next. Guess I will be sending my new prop guy (Jerry, aka Hulk)...the RXP impeller

    Hey CRS,

I thought that my 04 tack would only peek out at 8K, but, mine goes to 8500. Looking forward to changing the shaft out (Thanks Mike ) I had planned on doing what Mike recommended above if mine did not go higher.

I'd get rid of the pump wedge unless you ride like an old man or you have a stomach that requires you to lean forward....

Good job! the RXT pump will put you right up there. If you mod your ride plate you can dump the wedge other wise you'll go faster with the wedge.

Two2curupt, do you have a model number for the tiny tach your using? The agents down here don`t seem too sure which one I need.
