RIVA FX-SHO/FZ Supercharger Gear Dampener
Hey greenhulk, just installed the Dampener. As you see there is plenty of wiggle on gear, supercharger will keep the gear aligned from impacting the wall right????

That is because the oil pump isn't installed.
Once you install the oil pump you push the bearing in place that keeps
the dampener aligned

Sounds good, i will verify and re-post after re-installationof the oil pump assembly. Even though I took my sweet time with removal, I toreup the gasket while removing the oil pump and now have to order a new one. Kind of wish that Riva would just include it as it is impossible to remove the oilpump without damaging the gasket. Other then that, it’s not that hard of a swap.

Thanks guys, i ordered one from Riva and maybe i'll have it by the weekend. Yesterday I Re-Installed the oil pump without the gasket and bolts just to check alignment and the dampener was moving only a few mm. I have no worries about it once its all bolted up. Thanks again Jet-Sen.

This kind of help and advice is invaluable as most of us are doing these mods ourselves.
The more pictures and videos we use, the better picture we can paint for others.
Much love for GH!
