06 gpr1300 needs more speed
I have a stock gpr1300. I got 65.0 on g.p.s. What can i expect if I add a riva ride plate and intake grate? Or any other mod's that would work better? please help!

Get Jims plate!!!!!!!! Seal the pump, get a 1200 double bar intake grate,800 grate for more speed but bad holeshot, step your sponsons. If its an 05'-06' get a box stock dynafly. If its an 03'-04' with powervalves, get Waveeater clip/couplers.Depends on how much you want to spend.R&D d plate, raise compression.
Woops,i just reread your post and saw the 06'...get the Dynafly. jim or mike

Hey Andy, heres my combo...
14-20 df impeller
87mm exit nozzle
1200 r&d grate
r&d ride plate
r&d trim tabs
Champion 8902 plugs, j-gapped
Riva velocity stacks on ported throttle bodies
No internal engine mods at all, no fuel controller, or reeds either.

Yep, just rode with Jim today... Saw the FF plate today, very cool, works as its supposed to... Im still on a 1200 grate also. I may shoot for a 75 sometime just on hull and pump mods for top speed, but i dont want a speed only ski.. Our gang here in tampa , St pete just love to drag race!!

Thats great rossnemo, my setup is similar to yours, without d-plate, 87 mm nozzle, and ported throttle bodies, but with angled plate, syphon delete, drilled air screen and 40 degree air for 72.9 (best ever 73.3). These things can run good without the expensive mods. Allthough the head just came off to be sent to jim.

Stepping the sponsons is when you have the front in the up position and the rear in the down position. When you do that you will have to open up the middle hole to allow the bolt to go through the middle. 10 minute job.
