    QSTS with new steering stem

    hi all
just installed a R&D steering stem on my gp1300r,
i have disconected the QSTS from the pulley in the front of the hull

    question ?
what have you guys done ?
will the trim stay put while riding now
was thinking of getting a 5degree exit nozzel from the store this should help if i don't have the option to trim anymore ??

    GP1300R already has a 5degree nozzle

no reason really WFO i disconected thinking i could not fit the lines through the stem but now looking at others on the forum i realise i can
one of 3 ways down the centre of the stem with the kill switch line or maybe if i lucky through the small hole the accel cable runs or drill another hole in front of the stem on the mounting plate
    your thoughts ?
did i read right that you can use normal motox grips if using the QSTS the one thats bigger for the throttle goes on the trim side ?
is there a thread showing how to do this it looks fiddly ?

there are a few threads in the how to do/faq section

usually run the accel cable in front hole, and trim cables in the back hole

the R&D stem plate only had the one hole in it i placed it on the backside closest to the rider there was no hole in front of the bars but is nothing to drill one in there
i'll search on the forums again and see if anyone has installed R&D stem and how they did it
i found plenty UMI installs not so much R&D
