    Turbo rebuild

Anyone on here rebuild their turbo? Kits are pretty easy to come by and it doesn't appear too difficult for a decent mechanic.

you probibly know this, but the reason they fail (mainly) is to the over reving of the turbine/compressor wheels which rapidly wear the bearings/seals etc

i decided to go with a bigger turbo (runs lower turbine RPM's) from precisionsports.ca gives 20hp minimum. and will never go back. its worth the inversment.

    your call

The melett parts can give you a price for repair kit for your turbo but after you must make a new balancing axe of turbo by a professionnel .
You can find a professionnel of turbo and he can make ofer you a bout your one a new CHRA cartrige and can Upgarde the intake wheel , Bore of the crankcase of admission and and balance the axe .
And you have a new turbo
The old turbo was make with had landing with resistance on 240 ° and the new what are on 360 ° what mean that to say that your new turbo will be of better quality.

    good day
