how bad is this prop? I plan on replacing it with an SBT. Just not sure how soon.

That prop actually looks pretty good from the pic.

looks ok id say, maybe you could use a new wear ring depending on how bad its scorn.

i would suggest replacing it with a solas unit

I had a stock prop way worse than that. Looks like one blade needs the leading edge straightened. Could just be the light though. I would have it out, run a file over the leading edge, just to tidy things up. Make sure the edges are straight and throw it back in.

Ok, the outer edge is smooth. Just wasn't sure if the Inner edge dings mattered any. Sounds like I'm good. I'll just flip the wear ring for now.

I purchased a ski w/ an impeller redone by SBT-- the machine (03 GTX 185) cavitated until you let off the gas with this "reman" impeller. Seeing this, I would recommend against having SBT work on any impeller.

Your impeller looks pretty good from the pic, but the trailing edge is very important as well-- make sure to remove it from pump to do a proper inspection and tweeking if needed.

How do you know that that impeller was installed right? maybe it wasn't torqued properly and backed off the shaft, maybe the wear ring was an SBT, Those ARE junk,

There have been many people post problems with the SBT remans, this it not a new debate! If you decide to replace the prop get the Solas here in the GH store. And if you decide to replace it with OEM get here also. I have also seen nothing but good from Impros.....
