    oil pump

    does the oil pump work off the crankcase ? and does it matter when replacing lines that the ports match the cylinder - location wise fromm the pump ?

    Makes no difference. The oil pump is gear driven inside the crankcase.

    thanks - so i can prime the pump up to the carbs by turning over and i am then able to see the oil is getting to at least the carb body ?
