    96 slt 780 fuji - fuse locations and wiring in electrical box

    well it runs , now on to the mfd . no display so i amm in the black box and i dont see a fuse . i could use the location , is there just the one or is there 2 the other for the sump . i do see a grey wire that has electical tape covering it and it has the terminal under the tape . i could use a schematic or what it s function off the top of your head . thanks agin - i went to load firefox on this computer and i have to say its not mine and im sceptical of loading anything on work site - so if anyone has a manual online that canm be viewed without this addition it would help - thanks

    It is located at the far end of the board. It should have a fuse with a red/purple wire attached at one of the fuse. The smaller looking fuse is in the center of the board and has a orange/black wire connected to it for the bilge pump.

    thanks - any idea what the grey is for thats taped off ! others have been here and i didnt care for what they did to the carb screws - im not certain they had any skill and if it the same person on the grey wire - any idea on the grey

    The grey is the rev limiter from the CDI. Will have no effect on running. There is a grey terminal on the board it connects to. Might want to have that feature working if your MFD is not working.

    you guys are good , thanks im on it today , want to make sure this runs in case it warms up from the -15* celcius , not sure what that is in F* anymore for the American wrenches but its cold . thanjks guys

    well i had two wires off a grey and an orange , so the sump wasnt hooked up . i suspect it was non op due to age . the question is can you replace and unplug this unit from the sump head itself - it looks orig, 360 , unit . or do you have to run the line right into the box again . and the display was not hooked up at the bars , so i hear these can create problems with running or do i plug it in and see what it does . thanks for the replies
