    broke my hood

    well the little latch pin came loose and the hood was hung up, pulled a little to hard and crrrrrrack.... anyone know if you can buy just the piece thats broke? i cant seem to tell which it is in the OEM parts finder

    I broke mine as well, just bought some plastic glue and it is back to normal.
    I replaced the nut that hold the pin with a lock nut and red thread locker.
    You are luck you didn't loose the hatch handle, mine flew away when pin got loose.

    pn 14092 but for 73$ i think ill try the glue method first and see how long it lasts.... thanks guys

    Be sure to get the very strong glue for plastic/modeling. Also do not scrub the broken piece with sand paper, just clean it and glue it.

    Yes there are some strong glues but they all don't do well with "vibration" in my experience. J-B Weld your best bet . . .

    Most auto parts stores carry this stuff called Plastic Weld Epoxy....comes in a pink package, makes the repair stronger than the plastic itself......

    Plasti weld that was mentioned will work the best. It's good stuff just smells awful.
