    Single Carb

I'm looking to buy a single carb for an '03 Virage... It's a Keihin and the part number is 1253368.

I found one on ebay, but I'm not entirely sure it will work. The title says "2000 and up" but the part numbers are different. Is that just because it's from a different year?

    It looks like the 2000 used a 3 jet carb,where the 03 used a 4 jet carb.
I've never worked with any single carbs and don't know how well it would work.

In my opinion,$165 for a used carb is way too much.
Have you tried to have yours rebuilt ?

You could convert it to dual carbs for less than that I bet

Yeah, I rebuilt it a couple years ago, but no luck. The problem I'm having is bogging down when I get on the throttle. I've been doing a lot of reading and I think I'm going to rebuild it again and set the pop off right this time. I'm also going to check the accelerator pump, fuel cock and filter, and spark.

John Zigler might have a good one and should have a rebuild kit. Give him a call 608-743-1305

Check the regulator arm height. Setting that correctly fixed the problems on my 99 700.

Unfortunately I'm in Ohio right now... Ski's in North Carolina, and I won't be back down there until Spring time. I'll definitely check that though.
