95 sl 750 - sponsons
did the 95 sl 750 come stock with sponsons?
I always thought it did, the one I bought has them, but I have recently seen pics of a few without them in place.

interesting, one of my sponsons came loose last season and I removed it, having only one was a very odd ride!
I have reattached it and fixed why it came loose in prep for next season.

That would be strange! Probably dangerous as well. I wonder if it would start to spin out then hook the other sponon and send you flying. Please report back after you try it

I rode it that way for a full day.
It kept sliding to the side and then catching to straighten out
I never felt it was a danger but not a very easy ride or fun

There used to be a Polaris sponson install kit that was sold by Polaris,
I copied what was in the kit and installed my own on my 750 a while back,
They pulled out when I was racing one time, I fiberglassed them in now,
but they really helped,

I prefer the ride with the Sponsons and a long ride plate. Much smoother and better turning.
