found out that its a cpi b5000 switch. these switches are known for being on bilge pumps or something that needs to be waterproof. Now my question is why is this switch amongst these wires? i thought that the 1999 yamaha xl760 has a siphen bilge pump (using the jet pump as the siphen. can anyone give me a little more info on this subject.

So is it physically wired to something in your ski or did someone just leave some leftovers for you in the hull when you bought it. It's basically a momentary switch used mainly as start or bilge switches and as Wfo stated come mainly in seadoos.

no its not wired to anything. thanks for the info. It was in the storage compartment where everything was. I guess i can move on to the next thing now. Got to put my new hotrod crank shaft in and put engine back together. I also need to get some good pistons so any info on some nice ones and not the crappy one would be highly appreciated. Also have to get some reeds and needles for the carbs. I checked a couple of sites and some are over priced. Where is a good site to go to to order these parts.
