Whale Of A Tale
I went fishing for Striped Bass on my jet ski off of Virginia Beach today. I did not catch any fish even though the birds were diving and the bait was thick. I did not see any caught around me but I did hear a few were caught today.
I had an exceptional day primarily because I was treated to several whale shows in the ocean today. I had six whales within sight most of the afternoon. One of them was splashing its fin and fluke for everyone to see. I see whales almost every winter but I have never seen this many consistently. No fish for me today but some great memories once again!

That's awesome, I remember seeing a group of 5 dolphins up close. Amazing experience! How cold is it down in VA nowadays? The people on the boats seem to be layered up pretty well - and you're on a ski!

Great shot of the whale tail with the boat in the back ground. It almost looks fake. National Geographic would will be calling soon.

Thanks for all the replies. I enjoy being on the water and taking pictures while I am fishing from my jet ski. I took a lot of pictures that day, here are a couple more. The first one is the whale giving me "The Flipper"
