    10 hours service

    Hi Guys,

Real quick one, I'm doing a 10 hour service and have about 3 litres of oil out so far, how much should I have out. I know it is here somewhere but I'm in the middle of doing it. Thanks so much in advance. I have the ski on the trailer and bricks under the left wheel to try and get all the oil.

3 liters(almost 3 1/4 qts) sounds right. My 3 oil changes so far have been 3 1/4-3 1/2 qts. I tilt my ski forward also during oil changes.

Do not tilt forward the dip stick housing going into the motor is dead center of engine on right side of oil pan, What i do i keep it level front to back and tilt it to the side of the dip stick i get out close to 4 quarts.

Thanks jim, never looked at diagram before. I can see the dipstick is going where you said. With the ski just level, I couldn't even get out 3 qts, with it tilted forward, 3.25-3.5 qts. Next oil change at beginning of season I'll jack up the left side and see how it goes. Would love to get 4 or close to it out of it.
