    oil Leak on Seadoo Supercharged 2003 60 hours

    Can anyone help, Have oil leak and losing about 1 liter in about 10-15 mins of riding, If i run on hose on trailer seem to be ok, so only happens under load.
    Check rubber boot were bearing are, could feel under the boot and no oil seems to their, engine runs fine , no dash oil warning light come on.

    anyone help please

    I did have the SC rebulit a hour or so ago.?
    can see were th oil is coming from

    also forgot to tell you, change to oil filter plastic cap to a steal one

    Welcome to GH..You mentioned you are loosing oil..did it lose oil before the Scer rebuild or after??If it started after the Scer rebuild then there is a chance he either did not get the front oil seal in correctly or it is a bad seal...One way to check if this seal is leaking is to take the curved hose off the front of the Scer and see if there is oil in there..if there is then this is probably your issue...If not then we need to look into the engine as bad rings or valve seals can cause this...

    Should made myself a little more clear
    The oil end up in the back of the ski were the bilge area

    Same thing happen to mine, it might be the PTO seal, mine acted just like yours is doing. It is where the shaft comes right out of the engine.

    Sounds like the PTO seal/bearing or boot as 12rxp had stated..Was the driveshaft pulled lately???

    ok cheers guys
    run it on the water hose and it fine, put the engine under load ie ride it hard for 8-10 mins and 1liter of oil in the bilgue area.
    i did put my hand under the boot to feel any oil and it seem fine, do you guys have a pics of the PTO bearing and location.

    drive shaft has not been pull lately, how can i check the PTO bearing chaps

    Correct,IF that is indeed were the leak is..
