Thread: Prop Questions?
01-22-2012, 10:14 PM #1
I have been looking but I can not find the sticky on props, and pitches,
What do the numbers mean 10/16 or 11/17 ??
Does the higher the last number mean more RPM's? or lower RPM's?
Does the first number determine the hole shot? or what??
Since I was only turning 7700 by using a 11.5/16.5 what do use to get a higher rpm??

the low helps the bottom the higher # is the top end and they all depend on what mods you have and what your trying to accomplish . a stock 785 should turn a 12/17 at around 7700-8000 rpm's . for a better hole shot you could go 11/17 or 10/17 just depends on your motor and how well it's tuned. I would put a stock 12/17 and tune it with that and then start plating with different pitched props

I will try the 10/17.5 next to try and get a little more top end, that 10.5/16.5 just seemed a little flat,
