Question Engine diagram... hose routing question... I've got a random hose.

This place has been great since I've joined. Being a complete newbie in the PWC world, I've had all my questions answered so far... now I've got another one.

I've got a random hose that is running from the front of my 2005 RXT to just past the battery, it's not connected to anything on the engine side. I'd size the hose at about a 1/4" in diameter. It's zip-tied to the ribbed electrical tubing. Any ideas what this hose is for or if it should be connected to something?

Hmm.. didn't know something like that existed. I haven't been able to trace the hose all the way under the nose, it may very will go to the outside.

No tube on the battery, pretty sure you guys have solved my problems again. Thanks! I'll have to hunt for the exit on the hull.

Right side front under rub rail you will find the battery vent AND the fuel vapor vent.
I noticed you are still using the stock air intake system - most Hulk members have yanked that restrictive air box out and replaced it with a 4" kanaflex setup with great results. Look at my signature on my 2005 GTX 185HP for comparison.

looks like the battery vent tube to me, depending on your brand of battery you may not use it again
