    2003 STX R jet pump fitment. 900zxi or STX1100

I need a new pump for my STXR and I noticed on the side of my pump housing it says JHT10A. The JHT10A is also used on the 900zxi and the STX 1100. Will it fit properly? Is it the same? I can't find an STXR pump anywhere. Thanks

The 900, 1100, and Ultra 150 pumps are different and not interchangeable.

I called Skiworx and Steve said the 1100 pump will work but the brass water fitting on the left side would need to be drilled out to 9mm. The Ultra pump is a mixed flow pump and the Stxr is an axial flow pump. They also mount differently. The 900 is a smaller diameter. I'm stumped as to why the same part number on all 3 of these skis except the ultra 150 say JHT10A but they are not the same.

Yes, the Ultra is a mixed flow pump that is radically different from the axial flow. The 900 & 1100 are different diameters, I believe. The part numbers are different for all. You have to look at the 9-digit part number from the parts catalog. You cannot buy a complete pump from Kawasaki (or engine, for that matter). You must buy each individual part. The parts catalog here on GH does not give the full part number. If you want the complete number, you can try other online suppliers (http://www.powersedge.com/ for example).

900 stx /1100stx/zxi/12F stxr 15F all use 148 mm pump and all will mount....only difference some have a water strainer some have a direct water flow in that has a slight difference but will work.

the ultra 130/150 are completely different and not compatible on any pieces ...

Yes as long as it is the 148 MM and not the earlier 142 MM.

He measured the wear ring from one side to the other and said it was alittle bigger then 5 3/4 with equals 146-148mm. Am I safe to say this is the correct pump?
