Which ET charger should I be going with?

I have 2 of arts wheels a et 127 and a et137. Hands down the little 127 wheel is down right amazing.... very very snappy and a fun wheel. I havnt installed my 137 charger yet. Heres my questions... what may i expect between the both chargers besides the 137 moves more air which means more boost. What mph differrences will i see? 2-4 mph with the 137 over the 127? i hit 77.2 mph with the 127 with stock fueling and 42s... I added my rrfpr and my best speeds were 76.8 at 11.9 afr at wot. still using the wrong prop a 14/19 pitched and not a 15/20 which i need to get.

The 127 charger is almost problem free and very little maintence besides check slip every 20-30 hrs and the 137 will need a bit more maintence from what i understand. Basically i want to know if i should be safe and keep the 127 or spent the extra on fueling and a begi etc and just stick with the et 137 like i originally wanted? Anyone have experience with the 127 and 137 diff in speeds? if its 1-2 mph i may keep my 127 but if its 3-4 mph gain expected then i guess my mind has been made up.... If anyone has any videos of a 137 wheel and the sound id like to hear that as well... 80 would be nice..... i doubt i will hit that with the 127 but maybe close

I havent had any experience with the 127mm impellers, but the 137mm will be a big step up thats for sure. I would think you would only pick up 1.5-2mph but the difference in acceleration will be great! What base pressure are you running at the moment to achieve 11.9 @ WOT? I would think you probably have enough room to play with with the 42's to get enough fuel up top with the 137mm wheel. If not you could step up to the 48#, but a begi wont be necessary if you dont mind being a little rich down low.

your definatly gonna move more air with the 137..IMO i would go with the 137 being it pushes more air..You should see a difference in acceleration and top end BUT dont expect to see huge gains,Like Matthew had stated you will probably see in upwards of a 2 MPH increase if that...42s with a RRFPR should be more than enough fuel for that Scer also..

im going to do back to back testing in the spring with my ET 127 and my ET 137 and show results.... a rrfpr is good enough for a 215 ski? thought a begi was recommended as well ?

Not for a 137mm wheel, youll be fine with just the 42s and a RRFPR.NOW if you want to add a Begi than you can clean up your lower AFRs...

i was way too rich with 48's. The ET 137 is a night and day difference than a stock xcharger.

The 137 isnt gonna wear your engine out any faster as long as you feed it what it needs,as far as maintenance?Use good clutches and spring washers(I recommend Mc Master Carrs) and pre load your slip correctly and you really shouldnt have much issues..

i just want a 80mph ski... thats reliable .. im on a 76-77 mph one now with my setup so i just dont know what it would take to be at 80. i know reliable and modding dont go together but still ive seen guys with s3 chargers and 215 chargers do 79 -80... so its a hard one to decide . ive heard good and bad with the 137 as far as maintence and running/dialing in issues. 137 is a x charger drop in wheel for a x ski.... how different are the maps on my stock 215 ecu compaired to an x ski mapped for 42s?
my point im trying to get at is right now im running et's drop in wheel for the 215 ski. the 137 is et wheel for the x ski... correct me if im wrong but the x skis 255 are the same block and head?? just different charger and IC correct? so in thery a walbro 42s rrfpr on a 215 ski should do the trick with the 137 but just be pig rich at idle? guess that means the no wake zones im not at idle haha
