Thread: Carb question

Where can I get a good rebuild kit for my 38mm carbs. I know SBT sells them but with everything else, ya gotta question their quality. Also, what am I looking at for the cost to have them rejetted? I remember Jared threw out a price that his guy was going to do it for as a deal. Think you could hook me up? LOL.

hey mark why don't you do them yourself?
am i missing something here or can you rejet it for 5.99 a pair from dennis kirk. the jets simply screw into the carb housing. very easy to do yourself.

Only get genuine mikuni kits. Stay away from any aftermarket brand of carb kit. They should run you between $40-45 per carb, and are well worth it.
You can rejet yourself if you know what jets to put in. Most places that sell the carb kits have jets too.
Also, don't forget to replace the needle and seat.
