2010 rxt x DIY air intake question

Hi guys i just want to know what you guys think about cutting some holes out in the front lid to let airflow to the 2 ducks in front of the dash on 2010 rxt x I have ran 4 inch flex to the front of the ski with no filter and cut the ducks and bent them to face the 4 inch flex do you guys think this will ingest water?
Any advice would be helpful thanks

prob whack a filter on that... getting shit in the compressor of your supercharger is just as nasty as on a turbo... and by the looks of things you like open compressors.
for what its worth, get a rear air kit or run a 4" with a decent pod filter.
in my opinion new ish rxp/t shouldnt ever really end up, upside down the older models were pretty tippy ( pre 2000 ) iv found all the new ones stable as so i wouldnt stress

I would NOT do this - you will ingest water. Simply route the stock air tubes NEAR the 4" kanaflex WITH a filter, to keep crap out of the SC.

sorry not being rude but i don't see how your setup is any better than mine for ingesting water, yours looks like water will run down hit the bottom then straight into your filter.
mine has 150mm gap between the air tubes and the flex and is suspended in the air. so i hope the water will fall between the gap to bottom of the hull, please if i am wrong let me know
    thanks
