Rad 4 Racing ...... Turn it up a level!!

After our initial build of http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/atta...1&d=1252354400 and the subsequent run to 97 mph, (max before overstuff with reliefs that we had) We decided to move on to a recreational turn key package with both mega performance and stock reliability in an effort to produce a consumer craft capable of being a race winner on Sunday and freaking the kids on a donut every other day of the week.

    Target is 95MPH

    No over stuff

    Two up capable

All Quality Yamaha components + fab parts from www.skimd.co.nz

    Priced to the market

    Offer a standard MNF warranty

Nothing new to this forum with the hull and engine package we are running with but it seams that as GPR hulls are becoming more and more available and the new FZ based hulls are easily wrecked beyond economical repair, the bits are there for the picking and the combo just has to be put together at a price to make it affordable to the pilots who long for a two seater with power to spare. Surf jumping or slalom racing, we want it all and at a price for those who choose.

    Comments please.......................our project begins.

    Hulls home from Hale Customs.

Hull cuts and tunnel support complete. A little test fitting of some of the bits I have been fabbing and then off to the paint shop for a little flick over.
Neat and tidy job done by Hale Customs in little old Matakana NZ

    All Bar'd up!

Waiting for hull so did the mod to the steering in order to make it tidy but keep it cost effective.
Hot Products fat bars, Lizard Skin locked on grips and Hot Products own clamps with the top chopped off the steering head and a new smooth plate welded on so there is no more ugly hole down the middle of it. Standard SHO start stop and the Cruiser finger throttle assy and she is good to go.

Small things to keep my small mind busy while we wait for hulls to return

Rad 4 Racing fuel reg block off and 3441 walbro pump all in place and the unit is back in the tank.......wish the hull was back from the boat builders so the tank could be in the ski!
