    The perfect garage?

My winter project is to shape up the garage in my new house. It's a 2 1/2, which is really just a 2 with a lot of work space. Currently it has one single electrical outlet in the ceiling that the light and garage door opener plugs into. I just ran the cable from the main breaker panel to the garage (in the crawl space of the attic) for a new breaker box. My plan is to rewire the place for lights, ceiling fans, outlets, etc.

I'm kinda stumped on what/how to install workbenches and storage, not to mention painting the walls. I'd love to see pics of your garages so I can get some ideas.

Sorry, I dont have any pics but you should install dule plugs devided among 3 or 4 brakers. also if you have an air compressor install a hose real and dont use pvc for you lines as it will not last and it makes a real hart stoping noise when it gives.

If space is tight, you could add one or two workbenches that folt up. Hinge one side to the wall and use folding legs.

Super - thanks for the heads up on the lights. They are a big priority for me. My last garage (a freaking one car) had 5 four foot dual lights in it. I'm big into lighting. I'll call if I need any advice - I'm kinda new to AC wiring.

Shibby - I like your garage, looks real nice. Thanks for the pics.

I have the gladiator garage storage cabinets, 8 ft solid maple work bench, and matching beer fridge. Here are a few pics.
