    Need torque specs and tightenning sequence for a 2000 yamaha xl 1200 cylinder head

    I am looking for the torque specs and tightenning sequence for a 2000 yamaha xl 1200 cylinder head. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Should be 17ft lbs first pass, then around 22-25 ft lbs second pass. The sequence numbering is on the head itself, as you typically tighten the center cylinder first which helps prevent warpage. Don't forget lok-tite.

    Per the manual First is 11 ft-lbs, second (final) is 25 ft-lbs
